For my daughter’s third birthday, I knew I had to make a dinosaur birthday card to go with her Three-Rex Birthday theme. When we watch cardmaking videos together, she always asks if we can watch a shaker card video so I knew she would be very excited to get a shaker birthday card.
I created this dinosaur shaker card using the My Favorite Things Dino Adventure stamp and dies set. I used Lawn Fawn Spiffy Speckles paper and created an edge to edge shaker backdrop for my scene. I created mountains by using two shades of brown cardstock cut from Lawn Fawn Stitched Simple Wavy Borders (die cut at angles). I added my Copic colored dinosaurs and trees to the card, some balloons, and the “Happy Birthday to You” sentiment from Lawn Fawn Slow Down and Enjoy stamp set. When it was complete, I thought it needed a little more sparkle and added Wink of Stella shimmer to the dark brown mountain. I also glued the negative space from the three I cut out for her birthday banner on the back of the card since it was cute. My daughter was so happy when she opened and shook the card ?
