Three-Rex Birthday Party

Toddler with purple heart over her face in front of a dinosaur birthday cake

Our daughter recently turned three and she is obsessed with dinosaurs! We regularly visit the Natural History Museum and the dinosaur exhibit is her favorite spot. When we took her to see Santa Claus this year, she was still too scared to really talk to him, but she was able to poke her head up from my husband’s shoulder (where it was buried) to tell Santa that she wanted dinosaurs for Christmas. I love this age, she is just so sweet!

As I started looking up ideas for her third birthday party on Pinterest, I came across the Three-Rex theme and knew it would be perfect for her. I initially tried to create my own cute tyrannosaurus rex in Design Space but quickly realized my time would be better spent making things and I bought an adorable SVG on Etsy (Three Rex from Little Piggies Doodles). Let me tell you… money well spent! I also bought a dinosaur font from Creative Fabrica (Dino AZ) that I used to make a banner and t-shirts. In hindsight, I should have checked what the font was primarily for because I did have some difficulty adding shapes to cut the letters out of cardstock. It did great with vinyl though and I really loved how everything turned out.
