Interactive cards are a lot of fun to make and add a little something extra for the recipient. There are all kinds of interactive cards and I personally love making shaker cards, which involve using layers of paper or foam tape to create a well that you put sequins, glitter, and/or gems in, and typically enclose with plastic to keep the shaker bits from getting all over the place. Cards that use different folds, tabs, wheels and other features that create movement or require the recipient to do something (i.e., shake, push a button, pull a tab, etc.) are all considered interactive cards, and I am starting to try my hand at more of these types of cards.
