My sister and brother in law are amazing and planned the most amazing trip for my Harry Potter obsessed nieces! When my sister told me that they were taking the girls to Harry Potter World, she asked if I could make them matching shirts. Having spent one of my milestone birthdays (mind you, I was grown ?) at the Harry Potter World in Orlando, I completely understand the obsession! I was so excited to be in charge of making some awesome shirts for them!
I searched online for different ideas and came across a few that I really liked. Then… I hopelessly tried to create my own with some of the great Harry Potter fonts you can find (I downloaded this Harry P font). As I have previously mentioned, I still sometimes struggle with Cricut Design Space. Luckily, I was able to find the perfect Harry Potter designs from The Navage Patch, which are free when you sign up for their newsletter. I really love how the shirts turned out!
I used the “I Solemnly Swear I Am Up to No Good” SVG for the fronts of all the shirts. On the backs of the parents’ shirts, I used an SVG my sister sent me of Harry’s glasses and scar, and put their names beneath that image.
For the girls’ shirts, I used the “Wizard in Training” SVG from The Navage Patch and added the girls’ names below it using the Harry P font.
My nieces were so excited when they opened these and I am thrilled they loved their shirts/tanks! My toddler, who is Harry Potter obsessed because her cool older cousins are, insisted she needed a shirt too ? It will be some years before she will be able to read the books and watch the movies, but she is very happy to have a shirt like her cousins! ?
I hope this is helpful if you have some Harry Potter fans in your house! Let me know if you have any questions in the comments ?
